Procuring a piano for Pikangikum First Nation

An upright piano arrives at the school in the remote community of Pikangikum. “It was a joyous moment” says Morris George-Ellington, a music teacher in Pikangikum, as he talks about the challenges of getting an upright piano into the remote Northwestern Ontario community and what it means to the students to finally have the instrument.
