If you’re looking for a way to lend your support to ArtsCan Circle, consider holding a benefit event in your area. We need help organizing events across the country, both to raise funds and to raise awareness of our work with Indigeous youth.
A benefit event can be anything from a gathering of friends to a house concert to a full blown benefit concert. For example, in Feb. 2010, Debbie & Bill in Toronto hosted a jam party at their home for local musicians, and raised over $400 for ArtsCan Circle. There are lots of fun ways to help support the work!
Silverbirch, a bluegrass band, held their annual fundraising concert at the Uxbridge Music Hall and raised $5,000 for ArtsCan Circle! We just couldn't provide these programs without the help of our supporters.
Resources
We can offer you various resources to help you hold a benefit event, such as flyers, posters, a short video and advice. We also have some performers who are willing to donate a concert in southern Ontario. Send an email to info@artscancircle.ca and we'll help get you started.
